Answers: What I mean is if the 18 year old human body is developed enough to take in an alcoholic beverage.

no - the human liver is not fully devoloped until 21 years (which is why the 21 drinking age)
(oops, i probably have liver damage)
(ouch)

no

i became an alcoholic when i was 16, i'm now 17.

i'm doing good.

Kids were drinking alcohol as a safer alternative to water 200 years ago.

Of course... any age is ready.

Nope. Stay away from alcohol.

the human body is ready even younger than that. Most kids around the world drink some alcohol much earlier than 18. Unfortunatly we live in a country where you have to be 21. Just wait.

there are tones off ppl at my school who already drink im in grade 9 and there perfectly fine your jsut a wuss if you havint drank yet

Yes, you can vote and fight in the military, you can have a beer.
It's just not legal.

not really

no unless u r 21 yr old,but don't make it a habit.take care.

it`s not just the body you need to look at,
is the person itself ready.

why not, you can smoke at 18, why not drink

yep, drink ur A** off mate,

mentally i don't think that 21 is old enough let alone 18

Yes. But, they are at an age where they will most likely act irresponsibly. 18 is the drinking age in many countries all around the world.

It doesn't matter if you are old enough. Alcohol is not good for anyone.

yeah..just watch how much you do drink and how often but drinking alot isnt healthy at all which everyone knows but yeah i drink and i am fine just watch how much!!

hell yeah buddy

The liver reaches adult functioning levels (thats what is needed to process alcohol) at 1 year old.

So an 18 year olds body is developed enough to process alcohol (assuming they're healthy).

No, your brain is still developing and drinking alcohol will slow that down, so do not drink alcohol. You could end up becoming an alcoholic like me, and I go to AA and will have to for the rest of my life. Don't do it, please.
