i felt the same way a couple of days ago. actually it's an ongoing thing that has been... well.... ongoing (lol) for months and months. It never really goes away. I kinda tried to kill myself the other day, but the bread knife (the same knife that has cut my finger (while i'm trying to cut bread) many times before) decided not to work. I grabbed my new shaver (i just started shaving) but it's the Gillete Fusion (not the phantomn one) and it's one of thoose ******* "saftey" razors and it didnn't ******* do anything, except leave me with stining cuts much similar to paper cuts, but theese scars wont go away (the mental ones, and the ones on my wrist)....

i just decided to forget about it, but inside i still feel depressed, i just hide it, i think everyone has that feeling inside of you, but when i am with freinds i forget to feel it, when i am alone or being yelled at i rember to feel that way, i think that's how it works.

Mine has kinda gone away because i have finnaly saved up nearly $200 and am bying a DS lite, and now i have to be happy (no matter what) (NO MATTER WHAT!!! I JUST HAVE TO BE ******* HAPPY WITH IT) and need to be happy and compliant to quickly earn up annopther $50 so i can pay it off from lay-bye. so yea, i kinda just forget about the pain and sometimes i can't feel it. maybe just tell your parents you don't fell completely happy and wholesom, maybe they can help you feel better, i know my dad can't....

anyway, c ya lilly

find someone nice to talk to, a good friend to talk about it with, find out the reasons why your sad (eg, death in family) and talk to your friends or even online people can help I guess, don't take drugs because they screw up your head and make you rely on them, just talk to your parents, friends, and they will help you :)

Find a hobby or something you love and stick to that. Also try making new friends. And try finding someone you can trust to talk the whole thing out with them. You need to let it out, but you don't need to think about it all day long. Trust me, I've been there and I know how you feel. Hope you feel better soon!

I have experienced same. Go to your DR.
I recommend a psychologist. I hope things improve for u....

You might need professional help. I'd suggest that you see a psychiatrist to determine what's wrong and proper treatment could be recommended. I hope you do it soon before it gets any worse. Take care!

There are many people who have depressive illnesses. There is a difference between being chronically depressed and being just feeling blue for no apparent reason. Like some people I think get seasonal depression for maybe being indoors too much during Winter. Now sometimes real depressive illness runs in families. Wondering if you have someone close to you who suffers with chronic depression. Now when someone is truly depressed and people say Snap out of it...Look it is a lovely day...Be grateful for all the good things in life!! well that actually doesn't work and people just don't understand anything that hints at mental illness. Don't know how old you are or whether or not you can talk to your parents or someone close to you but you really need to see a Professional in matters of depression and if you are at school well see the School Counsellor and see if they can refer you to a Psychiatrist. You may well need tablets to tide you over and that is nothing to be ashamed of at all. You just can't help what is going on inside your brain and you need help to get the right balance. At least see a Doctor.

I know this sounds trite - But exercise , like swimming or aerobics could help
