Achilles tendon pain?!

Question: I have really short and tight achilles tendents on both feet and when i was little i did physical therapy because i was a toe walker(due to the short Achilles) after a couple of months it went away and really didnt walk on my toes for atleast 11 years. Well now all of the sudden im starting to walk back on my toes. If i dont i get really strong unbearable pain on the back of my foot or i cant walk because i lose my balance when i try to touch my heal to the ground. Is it possible after therapy that my achilles tendon could have tightend up again?

yes for sure. you must continue to do the exercises your PT gave you. you should be able to do most of them on your own but remember it is best to stretch after you are warm. in your case a brisk ride on a stationary bike could help. 30 second stretches threes times each side. good luck
