When you look thru your finger with a flashlite why don't you see your bone?!

Question: because our skin isn't transparent.
I'm sure there is muscle, blood and cartlidge there before the bone too...

Penetration of the xrays is much greater than the simple light rays. Otherwise there was no need to take xrays/ scans!
