Stop Smoking Tips please. Any actual non-smokers who have quit. Thanks.?!


Question: My first step was identifying my "must smoke" situations e.g. after meals, after sex (no kidding) and cutting those out, one at a time...
After that, it was a matter of dealing with individual cravings when they arose....what worked for me there was just telling myself that if I could put it off for five minutes, I'd be OK, and the cravings wouyld subside.
Also, and this may or may not apply in your case, I used to smoke weed, and I gave that up as well. "After A Couple Of Bonghits" was also one of my "must smoke a cigarette" situations.

bet some1 money that your going to quit, like 100 dollars or something, and be honest about it

you wont quit until ur ready to..i tried quitting five times..the patches..the gum...all of it...until i finally quit..and the only reason i was able to quit is because i felt i was in hell and absolutely sick of my habit...and finally had the strength to do it

I did just decide to do it. I jogged a lot and worked long physical hours. I made sure I showered often to wash the secretions out of the pores off. I had heard that taking a large dose of B-Complex with C also helped, I went out and bought some of the amino acids too. Your health food store can help you with that. I am not sure of the spelling so I won't try to type them, one was an acid to help absorb, detoxifcant, the other was like L-triptofan.

I smoked for 25 years. Last November I went to a health food store and spoke with the owner. She did a bioenergetic assessment, and gave me electronic acupuncture and also recommended b-12. I quit the same day with no side effects, no cravings, nothing. good luck
