Is it possible to have sinus headaches for?!

Question: 3 months straight? I already take prescribed antihistamines everyday, I want to stop taking pain killers and nasal sprays cause a re-bound effect after a few days. Will a saline nasal spray work, even if I feel like I can breathe through my nose already?

yes, you can have chronic sinus infections. Antibiotics will not kill the hundreds of kinds of bad stuff in the sinuses.
Try this, it works and I use it weekly to avoid the type of situation you are in now.
This really helped me when my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria.
you need

distilled water
sea salt
liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store.
in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature.
add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix.
using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down.
Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy.
The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don't get rid of them all.
Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time.
Then do it once a week for maintenance.
There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me.
I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore.
best wishes

Sounds like you need to see an ENT. I live in a very moldy part of the US and have constant sinus problems. You need to find out the source of your headaches and treat that. Your house may be full of things you are actually allergic to...We went to wooden floors and less carpet and got a few air cleaners to put in rooms we spend a lot of time in. Made a good difference. Then there is also Flonase *prescription or sinus washes that can be done in the shower. If you have been using a lot of OTC nasal sprays, you are probably blocked down. Again, treat the cause, not just the symptoms.

Saline washes work well if your head feels "full of snot"
But the kinds you buy aren't that great. You can mix up warm water with like a tablespoon of salt, and squirt it up your nose with a baby eardropper. It's really gross, and it kind of burns. Im very allergic to everything. That always works the best for me.

But usually, the best way to get rid of a sinus headaches and infection is to get a good antibiotic. Like someone said earlier, theres more to it than just treating the symptoms. But an antibiotic will help it to go away for good if it is indeed an infection
