I do not think a fart can smell bad enough to kill someone but may make you throw up. If you fart enough in a non ventilated area that can kill you as farts are methane and if inhaled in a concentrated amount is just like carbon monoxide.

YES! I swear, I am NOT making this up: An aprtmnet was investigated for a foil odur. A man had died. It was found that this very FAT man, lived very secluded - windows closed, etc. His diet consisted of a lot of cabbage and beans.
