Question: recently i started fainting and have been told i have low blood pressure....

what does it meen?
how do i get higher blood pressure?

Drink more fluids to prevent dehydration.
Get plenty of rest.
Make sure you get the appropriate nutrients that you need.

Juice

Should i stay home?
I'm not sure you should stay home or not but I do consider you to go to the doctor.

In case you feel weak or feel like fainting again (I hope it DOESN'T happen) eat some candy, cake, juice, or something high in sugar to prevent fainting.

Someone suggested caffeine will increase BP, not necessarily, it tends to increase heart rate, but not always cardiac output.

Cardiac output = Heart rate x stroke volume.

Also other compensatory mechanisms come into play.

i have same problem as well, and also anemia, check yorself for anemia. when u feel fainty just sit down . you dont need to stay home. mix yogurt , water and salt and drink that mix when you feel fainty. raisins and nuts are good as well.

tea and coffee. Caffeine raises blood pressure.

Low blood pressure generally means below 90/60.
