Can anxiety cause headaches and dizziness?!

Question: I woke up with a slight headache, but then got really stressed out this afternoon and since then have been getting dizzy and have a HORRIBLE headache (I'm even seeing spots). I do have anxiety issues (and am seeing a therapist). Can that cause headaches and dizziness?

Anxiety = stress, stress = headaches and dizziness (for some). It could very well be related.

I would be concerned that your headaches are something more though - a migraine rather than a mere headache. If you're seeing spots, chances are it's more severe. You should visit your doctor to see what they can give you to combat those when they happen....they can disrupt your life so much.

I am not a professional but I have the same thing and I attribute it to tension, stress, and anxiety!

of course it does.
your seeing dots and getting headaches probably because of your loss of air.
chill out and breathe!
i went to the doc for anxiety too.
i had it bad when i was younger.
i think it was because i thought to much.
i thought about if like what i saw was really in front of me because who knows what kind of image light reflects to your brain you know? like its just what you see through your eyes,. is that really how everything is? is everything really that color? or is it the color that it just happens to reflect off? idk it stressed me out. it made me think about how tiny i am and like how most of what i am is my brain. my body is just like responding to my brain.
Then i thought about like how everything came to be and what am in this small universe?
i just tweaked ,like am i really here?
i got like this outtah body feeling.
idk i tweaked about everything.
i panicked about panicking/anxiety. lol.
i felt like i was squeezed and short of air sometimes.
i got like frozen the first time i had a panic attack.
it was the winter. i was outside and i was in like 7th grade.
i was looking at this dog that someone left out and it looked like it had been out there for hours.
i was w. friends and we felt bad and we were gonna knock on the door and tell their owners that it looks like it isnt in such good shape.
then my feet started to get cold and i felt a little numb. then i just felt like brain dead and out of my body and that i wasnt moving my hands, i was just watching them move in front of me. idk its a werid feeling. idk if you ever felt it. so i started screaming and my friend piggybacked me back to her house. i ended up puking and then my mom got me. i went to the doc and shes like you got anxiety try breathing through a bag. im like lady i never wanna feel like that again. what the hell. so she percribed me to some lady and the lady gave me medicene. i suppose the medicene worked like sugar pills cause i thought it was fixing me which chilled out my anxiety, so it worked. eventually i found that i could miss it and i didnt freak out anyway. p.s. i used to have a lot of panic attacks. anyway what im getting to is its all mental stuff. your heads playing games with you. your just have to grow up and face your fears your problem whatever it is. anexity is a phobia. thats what my doc said. she said u have to figure out what it is bugging you and work from there. lol. i told her swimming bugged me so i wouldnt have to swim in high school gym. haha. anywayy. so ya i had panic attacks even after she gave me medicene. point is only you can make it better. chill relax. let me ask- what happens when you tweak? your just miserable right? nothing happens it goes away. your still alive after. so y do it in the first place. your gonna be fine if you do but why are you even though nothing is wrong? look around you. your fine. everyone else is ok. the people around you. they dont all tweak. its because they dont think about every little thing. thats what a tweak is. thats why people say dont tweak. you know? look imagine how you were before it all started. you were doing fine before the panic attacks im sure you'll be ok now. maybe you think you cant make yourself not panic not think. well think of what your panicing about. i used to be scared that id fall of the earth and gravity would give out. i told my counciler this and she just laughed. then i realized myself that it was silly. its whatever. really its all in your head. dont let your anxiety get in the way of your life. its not worth it. just relax. dont think so into things. you wanna panic until your dead? its a waste. dont you think? you don't have time to panic. life is short. if dont relax now and stop you never will until its to late. just chill and think"i am me" lol everythings stright. drop the panicing and just liveee! if you tweak just start telling yourself its whatever. **** it. tweak out! idc! youll grow out of it. i did. its kinda silly now to me. i applyed my over thinking skills to better things. i have pretty good grades in school. Bs and As. although some of my aniety turned into adhd or like hyperness. well so they say idk if i agree. i got this medicene to concentrate. =p blah idk but im 17 i grew up into a georgous girl. i club. i party. i drink. i sometimes smoke cigs. weed idk its not really my thing but sometimes i do when i drink. i finsih **** in school pretty well and i never walk out of class not understanding something. im smart =p i think i got it from my daddy. anyway point is life goes on. GET OVER YOUR ANGXIETY AND HAVE FUN! ******* LIVE.

Yeah, I think so. When I'm really stressed, I have physical symptoms.
