There are dozens of reasons a person could be throwing up. The best thing to do is to see a doctor just to make sure that it's not a serious problem.

Here are some of the causes, for the full article click the link I provided, but see a doctor to find out for sure:

Motion sickness or seasickness
Early stages of pregnancy (nausea occurs in approximately 50%-90% of all pregnancies; vomiting in 25%-55%)
Medication induced vomiting
Intense pain
Emotional stress (fear)
Gallbladder disease
Food poisoning
Infections (such as the "stomach flu")
Overeating
A reaction to certain smells or odors
Heart attack
Concussion or brain injury
Brain tumor
Ulcers
Some forms of cancer
Bulimia or other psychological illnesses
Gastroparesis (a condition often seen in people with diabetes)

Either he is pregnant or he has a drinking problem.

Hum sounds like he should be trying to build his immune system up a bit. A good multi vitamin along with healthy eating and exercise. My husband also takes extra b vitamins and c, as he is a letter carrier and is always exposed to some sort of illness and of course out in the cold a lot.

There are far too many things this could be a symptom of to even venture a guess. He needs to go to the doctors and get some tests done to determine what is causing this.

What are you feeding feeding him? Dose he have really good
life insurance? Sorry, that's the first thing that came to mind
as you didn't mention taking him to see a doctor.

It doesn't sound like the stomache flu. if it starts with a bad headache, it could be Migraines. Even after the pain of a migraine is gone your stomache will stay upset for some time. Many people vomit with migraines. Maybe go to the doctor and ask for a cat scan to rule that out.Is he nervouse or stressed a lot? That could be an ulcer, but that's usually more of an intense stomache ache and less vomitting. Also try googling Chrones disease. Some people just have more sensitive stomaches than other also. I have a friend whose little girl throws up at the drop of a hat. She's not sick, things just gross her out and she starts throwing up. She's a chunky healthy kid even though she throws up at least 2 times per month.
