Please tell me what my daughter can eat after her tonsils have been removed??!

Question: Ice cream, jello, cold pudding, or anything cold the first day or 2 because it reduces the swelling which helps with the pain of swallowing.
Then anything soft and easy to swallow. Things like noodle dishes, oats/cream of wheat, soups (can add crackers) just not too hot and I gave my daughter a slush drink afterwards for the swelling.
She'll be fine in no time and if she's anything like mine was, she will eat 'big time' once everything is back to normal.

Ice cream.

Anything soft. Usually ice cream or popsicles. But if she wants real foods, then mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, etc.
RN

Jello

Ice cream, yogurt, rice pudding, pudding, jello

Anything; but the Doctors recommend eating crisps now; to help get rid of the muck; where the tonsils were. Of course she should have something ,like ice cream as well.....

They used to say ice cream and soup and things but now they suggest thing harder things like crisps and biscuits it makes the heeling process quicker and less minor complications
But I'm sure the doctor will tell you more.
