Going out pre-surgery?!
Question: This is my umpteenth surgery question.
My Fiance wants me to go to a pub two days before my operation. At first I really wanted to go because I like the band that is playing, now I'm having second thoughts. I probably shouldn't stay up till 4 am two days before surgery or fill up on pub food. Drinking isn't in my best interest either I would imagine. ( Not that I was planning on it) I'm having my leg operated on so dancing although fun might not be a good idea. My biggest concern is I don't want to get sick. I had a scratchy throat yesterday and started freaking out that I was getting a cold. I can't afford to get sick so I'm thinking I might just stay home even though I would love to go out. Thoughts? What should I do? Anyone hit the town two days before?
