What is the highest your temp should go before you go to the hospital?!
Question: Wednesday I went to the docs and my temp was 99.2 then I went back to the docs today because I was not getting better at all and my temp was 100.4 then I just took my temp now and it's 101.2. What is the highest it should go before I make a trip to the ER?

If it gets 104 or more. Try taking a over the counter fever reliever and see if that helps. Make sure you stay hydrated also. Remember to make sure you give your self time to adjust so you get an acurate reading meaning nothing in your mouth 15 minutes prior and don't take it right from getting out from under the covers.
Somewhere around 103 or 104. If you feel really bad, you should go to the hospital anyway.
My Internist told me to always go to the Emergency Room when my temperature was over 98 degrees. I think you should go to the Emergency Room and maybe consider another Internist.
