if you have allergies or asthma it could be an asthma attack. I have both and if i don't do my medicines twice every day then my chest gets tight (i occasionally get a sore throat) and my sinuses go crazy!

How big was your sore throat Lol.

Probably just a very mucus cold.

Are you in Colorado by chance? There is a huge outbreak of this upper respiratory flu going around...that's what my doc said. I've had a cough, tons of mucus (everywhere, nose, etc), body aches, and fatigue for about 9 days. My hubby missed 7 days of work over it! Our doctor said it's just a virus and there isn't much they can do, cough medicine. It feels like pneumonia or broncitis...just drink a lot of clear fluids, nasal rinses, and rest!

girl, so many people are getting sick. EVERYWHERE. this is the time.

i am just getting over one. i used tylenol sever cold pills. every 4 hours.

also the same thing but "quick release" tablets are great too.

What's the question?

Many flu's begin with the sore-throat and then that disappears and the symptoms move toward the sinuses that creates the mucus coming from your nose. Often a sore-throat is the first sign that your immune system is in a battle already as there are lots of lymph nodes there as well and the glands typically swell too.
