I just pulled an all nighter and...?!

Question: for some odd reason I don't feel tired at all. I don't usually pull all-nighters. I did it because I procastinated and had to finish up some assignments. Is it normal if I don't feel tired? I feel more energized than usual too...

Yeah it called getting your second wind, basically your body is kicking in overdrive to keep you going, so you get a sort of energy rush. However eventually your body will start consolidating where its sending the energy to. So while you don't feel tired, your going to find it a lot harder to concentrate and understand somethings. Also because of this your short term memory for anything you may be studying during a time of sleep deprivation will be very poor; you may end up just sitting and staring at the same page for 20 or minutes before anything "clicks in"

thats just how it is

my sister did that and eventually she crashed

yeah that happens to me too. But just wait until the sleepiness hits then it hits hard real hard. At least for me.

Usually you dont really feel tired until the next night, so tonight I am guessing you were up all last night. That's how I am at least.

It seems like I'm really energized for having no sleep but the next night I crash, or if I sit down and dont do a lot in the evening I will get tired.....

Nothing to worry about.

You don't feel tired now, but as the day progresses you Will get more and more tired and then finally crash and fall asleep

over tierd

youll be shattered and acting odd later

You feel fine now.
By the end of the day you're going to be worn out really bad.

And I bet that if you sit around not doing anything for like 10 minutes or more you're gonna fall asleep.

Lol. Happens to me when I pull all nighters or don't get more than a couple hours of sleep.

trust me, you will feel tired tmrw. after an all nighter, the next day u feel like crap.

Many can have different sleeping abilities, some stay up all night and then sleep all day. others, in your case, have probably had rest and feel energized. and some stay up sooo much that they work off the sleepy-ness.
hope that helps!
