Why do we stop smoking on campus and not stop drinking on campus?!
Question: Actually, drinking on campus has been curtailed immensely in the past 30 years. We used to have a bar in the student building, but that got nixed ages ago, and parties went from going out to the beer store and stocking up to requiring a permit and all sorts of hoops and rings to jump through. You just do not have the perspective to know better.

Maybe because smoking affects those around you. And drinking doesn't? Smoking really bothers some people, and some may have health problems.
