How long do things stay in your medical records file?!


Question: Nope they stay on the file even after you die. Forever is the correct answer I think. I'm not sure what happens to the notes once you've been dead a long time. Probably they go to some filing office somewhere.

Anyway things on your record will stay there ad infinitum to the best of my knowledge.
