Why does my left arm hurt so much?!

Question: I'm a 21 year old female and have no health problems...at least none that have been discovered yet. The past few days my left arm has been hurting a lot. It feels like the circulation has been cut off by a tourniquet just below the shoulder. On occasion (like now) the pain radiates up my neck. There's nothing else going on with me, just this pain. I've tried a few different pain meds, but no relief. So why do I hurt?

i would go to the doctor...there's no telling what it could be.

you're not exactly the right age for heart attack, but that's what it sounds like, or it could be indigestion/heartburn

SEE A DR NOW!!!!!!

Uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the center of the chest lasting more than a few minutes. Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck or arms. The pain may be mild to intense. It may feel like pressure, tightness, burning, or heavy weight. It may be located in the chest, upper abdomen, neck, jaw, or inside the arms or shoulders. Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, fainting, sweating, nausea or shortness of breath. Anxiety, nervousness and/or cold, sweaty skin. Paleness or pallor. Increased or irregular heart rate.
