Lower back pain..?!

Question: So I am having a lower back mild pain when I bend over, just on the right side & its not BAD just annoying when I bend over but if I am not bent over its fine. Its if I were to draw a line from my belly button all the way around my back its on the right side in that area.

I am not urinating any differently or anything, but it is annoying. I will call the Dr Monday if it isn't better, but does anyone have any ideas? 29 year old Female.

Maybe just a muscle. I do notice when I take a warm / hot shower it feels better for a bit, like when I bend over it doesn't hurt as much after the shower.

I have had lots of experience with back pain, but that is not unusual because most people have this problem.

Have found that the best way to prevent it is with exercise. Before you get out of bed or go to sleep, lay on your back and put your feet under the covers with knees up about 45 degrees. Do as many sit-ups as you are comfortable with and add more as you are able. You can cross your arms across your chest to make them easier, or put them on your shoulders. The first one can be counted as you push the covers back. Go slow at first and then look as far as possible to right and left alternating with each one. Touch elbow to knee each time. I am now doing 50 at a time for 200 each day. Start off slow and build up. Don't lift or push heavy things as this seems to compress the back and cause the problem.

You can also raise your bottom up and hold for for a number of times. Then hug or pull your knees to your chest and hold an equal number of times. Now, kick your legs straight up to feel the tension in the back of the knee a number of times. Now to finish off the exercise session, put arms across the chest with feet under the cover and knees up 45 degrees. Move knees to mattress on right and then left for a count of one. Do as many as you like.

These are the exercises I do everyday. If not, I will have trouble standing up because my back will hurt so bad. With these exercises, I have no pain. If I get lazy, there will be a pain price to pay. The link below shows some exercises, but the ones I use are better. Never bend the back to the rear. You can use my exercises or make up some of you own. A heating pad does help with the pain, but the exercises keep the pain away.

I think faulty mattresses cause more lower back pain than anything. Do you notice any difference in the problem when you are away from your home bed? If so, dump the mattress.

if its on the right it could be the appendix. that is generally in the stomach area, but it could be a warning sign .you need to go to the doctor right away, bc it could burst. even of its not the appendix. its better to be safe than sorry. i had to have mine removed when i was 6.

now i know the last thing you want to do is workout with that pain but yoga is so good for back pain
i used to have lower back pain all the time and yoga helps build up the muscles and release tension
it likely is the muscles but sometimes we all have just chronic pain in certian areas, i have it in my knees and it never really makes sense
try a heating pack, yoga, and maybe accupuncture
but i would still go see the doctor
