Abortion complications?!
Question: My friend had an abortion yesterday. It's not something I agree with, so please dont tell me how wrong it is. But earlier today, I got a message from her boyfriend that she went to the hospital today, and when I asked what happened, I got a simple "abortion complications."
I'm not being nosy, just curious.. what could go so wrong after an abortion that she winds up in the hospital?

Although rare occasionally the uterine wall is punctured during the procedure. It can be serious or minor. However it is almost 100% fixable. Also like stated above she could have an infection, or an simply just blood clots being passed. I am sure she will be fine, if she is admitted though, you need to visit her, regardless of her choices you are her friend and need to support her decisions.
There could be a rare chance that some of the baby was left in her, or she didn't react well to whatever type of procedure they used.
There could have also been an infection, or the tools they used hadn't been properly sterilized, or she wasn't treated right.
thats sad but, i think she kinda deserves it! poor baby.....
maybe just excessive bleeding,or infection?its a surgery,so there are possible dangers associated with abortion.my mother has a friend(older woman) got pregnant,so the Dr suggested abortion.she had it done,went home.continued bleeding.went to the ER:ultrasound showed a second foetus in there!back to the surgery!It happens.
my friend had one not so long ago...she got really sick, n started bleeding a lot, she lost so much blood she blacked out for some hours, she had really bad black bags under her eyes, we took her to the doctor and he said she could have died from losing so much blood...now she dont know if she'll ever be able to have a baby...
its a good thing she went to the hospital before things got worse.
