Question: Ok, so heres whats going on. I have been having a constant anxiety attack for like five days. I havent been able to work, and I think I have an ulcer now. I am only 18, and I shouldnt be that stressed you know? So if anyone has any breathing techniques or any mind over matter type things, not really looking for a medication or product.

Hi,

If you feel a panic attack or feelings of anxiety creeping up on you then try this word repetition technique that I learned that helps me to quickly 'snap out' of my panic attacks:

I simply repeat the words 'cream cake' over and over in my head as quickly as I can without stopping. You could use any word or words you like really but that's what I chose (because I like cream cakes). It apparently works because it doesn't give your brain time to process the panicky thoughts and so helps you to relax again. Seems strange I know ... but it works for me!

There's also a free ebook that I found really useful called 'Get Rid of Panic and Anxiety for Good'. If you want to take a look you can find it at: http://curepanicattacks.premiergold.info... Even though I got it for free it has helped me absolutely loads!

Take a deep breath - inhale for 3 seconds, hold for 3 seconds, exhale over 3 seconds, hold for 3 seconds... repeat a few times.
Stretch
Picture a relaxing place like the beach
Walk away from whatever you're working on for 5 minutes
Chamomile tea

There are breathing techniques. breath in through your nose and out through your mouth; you can do this cupping your hands over your mouth too.

If you have health insurance can you go see a psychiatris or a hypnotist. They can help you visualize a relaxing setting and then you can associate, say puttingyour hands in your lap with this vision when you start having a panic attack.

Also, you can tense up your different body muscles and then release them starting from your toes up.

There are pressure points on your face, between your eyes & at your temples that you can tap or put pressure on.

For the ulcer, you should goto the doc. They can give you samples of nexium perhaps?

You should try and figure out when/why these are happening. Are they situational?

I used to have panic attacks so bad and was even on zoloft but the panic was still there. then i got the linden method http://www.lindenmethod.net and i made a full recovery. it works great and I highly recommend it.
