BAD ear wax?!
Question: My ears make a lot of ear wax and my doctor has told me over and over again that I shouldnt clean them with bobby pins or q-tips and to just leave my ears and ear wax alone.
But its gross and it makes my ears itchy and now I have so much that my ears are really hurting
Anyone know any good ear wax remover kits I can buy or if you've had it done at the doctors can you tell me what happens?

I use something like Eleany but mine is curved at the tip. I did it at the doctors before too, they use something like a scissor like tool. It doesn't cut but it grabs the earwax out in chunks and everything becomes so much louder and sharper after that. It is like you bought a new set of stereo system and everything is dolby sound surround lol.
Just carry Q tips around and don't go in your ear too deep since it could cause it to hurt and it's pretty painful so be careful next time.

I avoid using q-tips or other objects since they really just push it in deeper and don't take the dirt away.
Before using the metal ear wax remover I make sure to sterilize it though.
There are hydrogen peroxide debridement kits available @your local drug store. These consist of a flushing bulb, & small catch basin. The hydrogen peroxide loosens the ear wax, & allows it to be irrigated out. I have significant scar tissue on both ear drums from cleaning out my ears w/bobby pins, etc. Protect your hearing, & learn from my mistake.
i dont have this problem but use a wet wash rag to clean them out 100% sure itll work try it right now!
If your ears itch,then more wax is produced to protect from the infection.Removing wax means more infection.If it persists than antibiotics may be needed,but ear wax protects your ears
