You'll have to experiment which is best for you. I just lean forward letting my nose bleed and within 60 seconds the blood coagulates and my nose stops bleeding. If your blood does not coagulate, DO NOT try this.

The correct way is to lean forward and pinch the bridge of your nose. The reason you lean forward is to stop the blood going into your stomach and making you get sick.

no i lean my head back or the nasty way is to look for this string in your nose witch causes your nose to bleed so it will stop but just lean your head back

I roll up a small piece of paper until it's about the size of a pencil and tuck it up under my upper lip beneath the nose.

It works for me. (I'm told that some of the blood vessels that supply blood to your nose go through that area and placing the rolled paper there applies enough pressure to stop the nose bleed.)

lean back get a wet rag on it till it stops

Lean forward leaning back you can choke
