No dettol is not good for intra oral use. Use a povidine iodine instead. Dettol is for external application only. Consult a pharmacist/doctor for one.
Rather use TCP

I don't think dettol would be good for use inside your mouth, its good for cuts on the outside but for your sore throat, try some vinegar and water gargle with it and its safe if you swallow some by accident.
