Good ways to ignore my OCD?!


Question: I need both sides of my body to be even with human touch, like i bump into you with my right side you better bet i am gonna take a step right and bump into you with my left side.
Does anyone else have this type of OCD? good ways to deal with/ ignore it?

well my friend halley has to take three steps with in a block of side walk or she has to go back. the way she deals with that is doesn't look down when she walks. So I guess you could try to
A) not touch anyone ever again
or
B) when you do completely ignor it and keep walking
even if you think about going back don't.
that way you get use to not giving into your OCD and it will eventually stop bugging you

pray about it, Jesus can heal you.

I don't have full blown OCD but I do have small things like that with physcial touch or activities. Like if I have to turn one way, I have to turn around again the other way to BALANCE and even it out...weird I know. If I am walking and I step on something that I can feel through my shoes on my center of the foot I have to do the same step with the opposite foot. I also count lines on digital clocks and it MUST be an even number otherwise I get annoyed...weird but I can control it.
