Question: Apart from a persistent cough or coughing up blood what other symptoms could indicate early onset of lung cancer and would having pain across the front ribs and chest wall be a symptom.I would appreciatte hearing from people who have had experience of lung cancer either themselves or have known someone who has had it.Thanks.

might not be lung cancer or fatal. someone i know had similar symptons. theyre still tryna work out whats wrong, he has a lower lung capacity now, gets wheezy coughs. hes a smoker. but he nearly went crazy before plucking up the courage to see the doc.

go and see your GP instead of asking advice from ordinary people.he will do all the tests and give you the proper advice not just a guess.best wishes and luck.
Go to your doctor who will refer you for a chest x-ray if he /she feels it's necessary, that is when anything abnormal will be picked.
