What can i use to clean a lip piercing?!

Question: is rubbing alcohol ok?

Answers: is rubbing alcohol ok?

NEVER use peroxide or alchohol to clean a piercing....wash the outside of the piercing with either anti-bacterial soap (like dial) or a sea salt solution (1 tsp sea salt to a couple cups of water)
hopefully you havent already used those other product. I had a friend use alchohol to clean an eyebrow and it became so infected and irritated that it left a horrible scar!

clairs

ya thats fine! proxide too

yes but you can also use peroxide.

Well somthing cheap would be Peroxide..I wouldn't use alchol because i will sting like a B*tch!

It depends. If your lip piercing is new then no.

Alcohol will dry out the new piercing and it will take longer to heal.

For mine, I used antibacterial soap to clean the outside hole, and alcohol-free mouthwash to swish my mouth and clean the inside hole.

Mouthwash... Listerine, non acoholic- Do not use peroxide!
My daughter works in a tatoo/peircing shop, I know for a fact! Same with lip peircings.. Every few hours and especially after you eat something!

Yes rubbing alcohol is all you ought to use. Also twirl earring so your piercing doesn't get stuck.
