If the pharmacy gives you extra medication, will you get into trouble?!

Question: I was going to have surgery last month, so they called in two prescriptions, an antibiotic and a pain pill. I had to postpone surgery because I got sick right before it and they could'nt operate because I was sick. They said to take the antibiotics to get better and hold onto the pain pills. My surgery was rescheduled for this Thursday so they called in another prescription for more antibiotics. When I got to the pharmacy, they had the both the antibiotics and the pain pills, again. So know I have two bottles of pain meds. Will I get in trouble for having both with me? Or should I inform the pharmacy?

The prescriptions were both valid and you paid for them. You have those medications legally. Since you've brought them home, you can't return the drugs. You should have mentioned something when you were picking them up, and we would have put back the extra prescription.

NO YOU WONT GET INTO ANY TROUBLE BUT YOU SHOULD RETURN THEM

If you have extra pain medication wait till you're feeling better then you can take it recreationally. Drugs like vicodin or percocet are really fun when you're feeling really healthy.
