Want to know my blood test results?!

Question: I got my blood taken about a week ago and I have been waiting for someone to call with the results the last time I got my blood taken I couldn't find out the results until I went into the doctors for an unplanned appointment then she told me.. now I have no idea when and how I will find out about the results since last time they never called. I was wondering if you can call them... and who to call? They always seem busy so idk.. the test is for lyme disease the first time I took the test they said I had it in my blood but not concentrated enough to call it lyme disease now I want to know if I have it or not its driving me crazy.

Look. You paid for them to test your blood. The results belong to you!

Call them. Doesn't matter how "busy" they are. They owe you.

And another appointment is just a way for them to make more money if the results is negative. You shouldn't need one. A phone consult is all that's necessary.

Good luck.

I usually call my physician's office number and usually someone will call me back with the good or bad news. If everything is okay the R.N. usually delivers the news unless the tests are complicated or other follow up is needed. If the test results were positive for Lyme disease for instance in your case my doc would want to see me after giving me the word over the phone as I would not let them tell me "come in we need to talk"--they have known me too well and too long for that to work! LOL.
Bottom line sweetie, give them a call and push for your results. The receptionist is not allowed to give them to you so speak to the nurse or MD and try not to fret. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

you bought & paid for those tests & the results belong to you!! Call the doctor right away & demand to have the results..If necessary, remind him that he is working for you..

la mejor pregunta es no thank you
