Answers: I haven't felt 'good' for real for over three years... how can I detox??

What are you "detoxing" from? Drugs, Alcohol, bad food habits?
Drugs & alcohol get yourself into rehab.
Bad food choices- pick one new good eating habit- ex. eat 5-6 fruits and vegetables a day. When that one habit becomes something you now longer have to remind or force yourself to do pick another good habit to start ex. drink 6 glasses of water a day.
If you want to purge your system- give yourself diarrhea to get rid of "toxins". Go slowly- do not take to much over the counter medication and drink lots of WATER- to prevent dehydration.

Depends on how you want to detox as there are many different ways. There is the water detox where you can only have water, the fresh juice detox where you can only have freshly squeezed juice or homemade fresh clear soup (no creamy soups), the fruit and veg detox - only fruit, veg and water etc. You can detox for a maximum of 12 days any longer and it can be dangerous so do your research to know where you should begin for example if you eat a lot of junk food then you won't be able to start of at the water detox, work you way in to it as some people can get nausea, headaches and even diarrhoea as its a shock to the body, but once you try it you will see why people continue to do it.

Detox by herb suppliment if you like. Juice fasting is a common method. Tea by the gallon is another. I go for high fiber foods and minimal protein consistently for several days myself. Changes the internal environment a bit for all those hangerson inside. They are perhaps the source of the toxins. Keep eating high fiber afterwards.
