No I don't think they should be paying anyone for that at all and no judge should be handing out judgments making McDonald's liable. You would have to be a pretty ignorant dumb person to go to mcdonalds and think it's healthy and not fattening for you. If someone is already overweight and eating there daily of course they are going to put on weight, just the same as if you ate a daily meal of burgers and fries at home made by yourself....it's greasy food and if you honestly can't tell then your a idiot cause fries are deep fried in oil and the burgers, well who knows what they do to them they sure don't' resemble meat. It is the overweight persons own fault if they ate that much fast food and gained a ton, and now they are trying to place the blame on someone else to make a quick buck so they can go buy some more big macs....it's their lifestyle that made them fat not mcdonalds force feeding them burgers and fries.

i think it's dumb that people sue mcdonalds for such ridiculous things. if they don't have enough common sense to realize that they're gaining weight, and if they stopped eating that crap they wouldn't, then that's their own fault. besides the fact that mcdonalds is gross...that's why i don't eat it. people these days just look for an easy way out and easy ways to get money.

wow no mcdonalds isnt resposible. they could of stopped eating mcdonalds and ate sumthin healthy. thats gay

People should start taking responsibility for their actions. It's unfair to blame mcdonald's for the fact that they are lazy and greedy. You see unlike cigarettes which contain addictive substances, Mcdonald's isn't addictive. So a person can quit anytime they want. They choose not to. Then they and their parasite lawyer go after the company.
