It is with a prescription. However it is mostly dispensed in its genereic form in Canada, many wouldn't know it as Valium rather diazepam

Yes it is available in canada too by prescription but it's not something a doctor will just prescribe cause you say you need it. It's a pretty strong medication so normally they will start off with other drugs first.
