Are these symptoms of breast cancer?!

Question: I'm a little worried about my best friend, who's only 16. She has a pretty weak immune system and catches colds easily, but recently she found a lump in one of her breasts and then she got super sick. She got a fever of 103 and was very weak and ill. I'm not sure if it was just a flu or if that's one of the symptoms of breast cancer. I mean, the lump could be nothing, right? She's going to the doctor tomorrow, but I just wanted some opinions.

There is a very small chance that the lump could be cancerous, however it is very rare in young people. It is more likely to be a cyst, but she is *definitely* right to go and have it checked out at the doctors, it is always much better to be safe than sorry!
The fever will probably be an infection or virus (such as flu), and almost certainly unrelated to the lump. The common symptoms of cancer do not include fever.

The lump should be checked out to be safe but the rest is just the flu. Breast cancer is extremely rare at that age.

It's probably nothing. Young girls often get lumps from caffeine ie soda. The fever is totally separate. Breast Cancer doesn't give you a fever like that.
