Dermabond liquid stitches?!

Question: Has anyone ever had dermabond liquid stitches, I sliced my thumb open and the hospital sealed it with dermabond, I got an instruction sheet on how to take care of it, but it doesnt say how long it will stay on...does anyone know aprox. how long the dermabond lasts?

I had a realy bad cut also . and they used the same thing. they said to leave it on for two to three weeks so it can heal! dont play with it or try to remove it .let it fall off by itself !

I got Dermabond on a cut on my chin when I was ten. If I remember correctly, it should last for a week or two. No more than that though. I'm sure it also depends on the size of the cut. If they used Dermabond at all, I'm assuming your cut isn't too huge.
