usually within about 15-30 minutes you'd notice symptoms since it is being injected directly into you.

i've had years of allergy shots, and they always make you wait 15-20 minutes after the shot to see if you're having any adverse reactions, even if you've been getting the same shot for years.

i just got my tetunus shot on monday. within 20 minutes my arm was in pain from the shoulder to the wrist, but i've always been affected by that shot. it still hurts today :(
