I don't gain weight easily, What can I do??!


Question: my weight is fixed 55Kg the max. weight i have reached is 56Kg
i eat alot but i don't gain weight at all :(:( what can i do in order to get much weight????

I used to be like you for a long time. Well, I even weighted less!
I am 1.63 mr, and I used to weight 43 kg! For years and years, I couldn't make myself weigh more then 45 at the most. People thought I was anorexic, but the truth is that I could eat and eat and eat.
Of course that worried me, so I went to the doctor. She said there was nothing wrong with me, I might have a fast metabolism, but besides that i was healthy. So, she adviced me to eat a lot of fat things like cake and such. That was actually the only advice everyone gave me. To eat more.
I got a bit frustrated from that because it simply didn't work! Besides that, eating only fat things is not good for your health either.
And sometimes people would really insult me, telling me that I looked scary and such. Some people really didn't take me seriously because they where convinced I threw my food up again or something like that. Only the people who where really close to me knew that I loved food and could eat as much as I wanted. Which was a lot. :)

Now, I don't know how old you are, but with me everything started to change when I became about 24,25. Somehow I naturally started to gain weight. Now, I'm 36 and I weigh 57 kg. Which for me is actually a bit too much! I have a small belly, and somedays I dream that it still was like it used to be.. that I could eat and eat and eat. :))
Because I really love food but now I have to watch it, otherwise I gain weight too much like everyone else.

So, I don't know about your age, but you will probably grow over it.
A thing that you might try, is to gain weight through muscles. Musles weight a lot, so if you do a lot of sports you will gain weight for sure.

If you are not that young anymore, then you might really have a problem with your metabolism. In that case you should check it out at a doctor. It could have something to do with a too fast working thyroid. But if you are like me, don't worry, you will gain some weight when your body starts to change.

Try to take a day or two off sport.

I also find it hard to gain weight even tho im a heavy eater,
I play Basketball everyday for about 3 hours, that i preume is keeping me fit,
so try to pig out and be lazy for a week =P

I have your same problem which is a high metabolism rate, to gain weight you could eat protein bars which are very effective. hope this helps

use banana milk shake woth lots of cream for one month and you will see the results
