Where are your hands usually? If they are above the elbow most of the time its probably because blood has trouble traveling up. If they aren't, then its just because your blood isn't pumping as well as it could. It won't hurt you until they start turning colors.

its something to do with poor circulation. are your feet cold aswell? if they are it probably is poor circulation. you say you usualy have cold hands, if you are worried i suggest you go see a doc
Maybe you need to put them in a warm place. You need blood circulation around them. Maybe your hands are most of the time under something else and not a lot of blood can go to your hands
