Answers: and i like to wear flats and that makes them sweat and smell, what can i do about this?!

1. Try cleaning your toenails. Dirt that accumulate under your toe nails are good medium for fungi to grow.
2. Try out various foot powder. Different foot powder have different active ingredients and different people react in a different way to each.
3. Have disinfectant spray (anti-fungal in particular) ready and spray on your shoes at night. Leather is also a good medium for fungi to grow.
4. Dry your feet thoroughly after taking a bath and before wearing your shoes. Fungi prefer moist environment than dry.
5. Avoid spicy food. Part of what you eat oozes out of your skin. But if the smell is only on your feet, then this might not be the case.
6. Bring soap wherever you go. When you travel, you accumulate dirt and dead skin on your feet which promote fungi growth. Washing your feet whenever you have the chance or feel sweaty will prevent fungi growing on your feet.

Have a foot soak and get antibacterial foot powder.

put a smal amount of baby powder in the bottom of your flats before you put feet in them

Urinate on your feet in the shower. This will kill the smelly bugs on your feet. Urine is like vinegar.

At night rub hand sanitizer all over your feet. Then powder them heavily and wear thick socks. This should help

Well, there are a lot of guys who will pay good money for those shoes and the chance to smell those tootsies of yours. Perhaps, you should consider a new career?

I have smelly feet too. Baby Powder doesn't work, you just have to wash them a lot and carry deoderant so you can spray it on your feet.

foot powder

gold bond.

and the guy who says pee on your feet is correct.
people, do that.
it protects you from foot fungus.

buy those socks that dont cover your whole foot, that only cover you toes and heel. you can get it at target or shoe stores and i think walgreens might have it. that works for me when i wear flats.

Try to avoid getting your feet sweaty at all costs, even if it means not wearing your flats. Getting them sweaty is what makes them smell. Try to walk around your house more barefoot and only wear shoes when you're in public.

Use Odor-Eaters.

# Change your shoes frequently. This applies especially to guys who often have only three pairs of shoes: a stinky pair of sneakers, a less-stinky but still fierce smelling pair of hiking or work boots, and a forgotten pair of shapeless brown or black loafers balled up in the back of the closet, worn only to job interviews, court appearances, and funerals. You should have several pairs of shoes, enough so that you can put aside a pair and let them dry out. Wearing the same pair day after day is a recipe for stinkfoot.
# If you are wearing shoes with synthetic linings, try a pair of leather lined shoes. They will cost quite a bit more, but leather absorbs moisture and helps fight foot odor.
# In warmer weather, try wearing sandals. Again, even sandals can get stinky if the same pair is worn daily. Get a couple of pairs to allow one pair to dry.
# To check if a pair of shoes is dry enough to wear, reach inside to the toe, and touch the lining above the toe area. Gruesome, I know, but if it's damp, imagine how stinky it will be when you put them on.
# Wear only shoes that have thoroughly dried out.

Tips

* Many people feel they can reuse yesterday's socks because they don't smell bad. Truth is, the odor has temporary aired away but the responsible bacteria are right there, waiting for humidity and darkness to thrive on, and medicated powder won't keep them at bay.
* Do you have enough socks? Go and buy enough socks so that you can wear clean socks daily. Socks that are thrashed, stained, and holed need to be tossed.
* Try one of the medicated foot powders on the market to keep feet dry and fungus free.
* Regularly change out the insoles on athletic shoes. They will smell less, and the new insole will give better support than one that is mashed and flattened.
* Men, go and get some extra shoes. You have extra screwdrivers, extra hammers, extra fishing rods and extra golf clubs, so spring for some extra kicks. You'll smell better, your feet will feel better, and chicks dig non-stinky dudes. What's not to like? Bust out the credit card and get a few more pairs of shoes. Wear them, change them out, and let them dry in between. The world will be a better place because of it.
* Wash your feet everyday with soap, water and a wash cloth. Make sure to lather up the wash cloth very liberally with soap, then wash, getting inbetween your toes especially. Do this every time you shower, it is very important to keep the bacteria at bay.

get some oder eaters......some foot powder.....where sox's.....take them off often and let them air out.......wash your shoes up often {like wipe them out} carry some perfume around with you and spray them once in a while.

soak your feet in a bath made of tepid iced tea. do this a few times a day and in a few weeks your feet will be sweet as roses! i promise. the tannic acid in the tea will help dry out your sweaty paws. (it will also stain your feet a little, too.) if worse comes to worse: always wear socks.

no way. dude. thats exactly how i am. my feet always sweat. you can try like sprinkling baby powder in them before you wear them? ha ha good luck.

FOOT powder before socks works for me gold bond is good
