Nature's healer is sleep.
Get enough vitamins and barely enough food. Don't overburden your body digesting heavy meals.
Don't stress your body with extreme cold or extreme exercise. But you need to circulate the blood, moderate activity is necessary, don't just lay still all the time.
Inhale the vapor of garlic. Look up "ajoene" in Scientific American. It is a natural anti-viral medicine. To get plenty, I like to slice garlic thin and fry it. As it starts to heat up, the first vapor it releases has the ajoene - it evaporates more easily than water. Breathe that sharp, nasty smell deep into your lungs. Keep doing it. In a minute the odor changes to a more pleasant one - you are done.
If I do this and get my sleep I always get better.
Also eating the garlic and onions is good, they are full of minerals and healthy stuff. Eating raw garlic is good too, if you can stand it. (I can't)
This is why folk medicine recommends wearing garlic to stay healthy. As it gets bruised, the ajoene evaporates.
Dried garlic or garlic powder is no good for this purpose.

Its for sure going around. About the best advice I can give you is gargle with warm salt water, but here's the kicker, use about 1/2 water & 1/2 hydrogen peroxide. I know it taste nasty but it kills and gets rid of alot of bacteria.You will be glad you did. Trust me, I've been doing it for years.
