I didn't make my varsity baseball team and I'm really sad?!
Question: I made the JV team but my friends made the varsity team. Normally I take letdowns well but this one makes me really mad because I know that I am as good as them. I'm not saying that I'm better than them but I am also not saying they are better than me. The coach always talks about how he can make mistakes and if you should be on varsity and you play that way on JV he will bring you up, but the JV team is a big joke where nobody really plays baseball. Everybody screws around on JV and there are some who can't even hit a ball. Since I'm on this team again I've lost my will to play but I still would love to make varsity. I just don't feel happy playing right now and it is imprtant to be happy when you play baseball. Any advice anyone had would be great.

It's not the end of the world and not the end of the season.
Things happen, people go into slumps, and people get injured.
Hang in there you still might be MVP this year.
tell your coach everything you just said
