Is your eye itchy at all? If so, it might be pink eye...in which case an opthamologist will prescribe something for that...Having said that if you use visine too much you can actually cause a rebound redness affect. Visine has ingredients in it called vasoconstrictors. The idea is to shrink the blood vessels which give you the "red eye" If you overuse the visine product, it causes the vasoconstrictor to wear off. The blood vessels then become larger, causing the eyes to appear even more bloodshot. This might cause dependency. First of all you should check for other possible reasons why you have the red in your eye (inflammation or infection/or eye disease). Hope this helps!
