Question: i want to know why people support pro-ana/mia. This question is not to judge you i would just like to get the other side of the story. I want to know your opioion.

The supporters are anorexic and or bulimic. There are many websites for this purpose, it to help support each other without getting lectured.
I do not understand how people can give tips on how to starve themselves. These girls are sick, they need support in getting better.
i worked at a mental hospital where there were anorexia patients. they weren't that different from the people there for other reasons. Everybody needs to justify their behavior. It doesn't matter what that behavior is, whether it lands you in a mental hospital hospital or not, you need to justify yourself. People whose behavior is more consistent with social norms only to justify it to themselves. People whose behavior is inconsistent enough to merit institutionalization often need help in justifying their behavior. Pro ana provides this. Also, no matter who you are, especially if you feel alienated, it helps to have people who are like you, can identify - it makes them not feel so alone.
