Either go to the University of Florida Hospital, or the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, otherwise. Go north, or northwest.
There are a few good Docs here in FL, but they are few and far between. And I swear the State is pressuring the Doc's NOT to give out Narcotics to anyone under the age of 45, unless you are broken from head to toe, or dying. So many many younger people suffer needless pain. Like my poor daughter who has severe Endometriosis pain.
Kind of like non medically trained people in the Legislature are telling professionaly trained Physicians how to do their job and that is SO WRONG! I think the Dr.s need to stand up and take back the power, and put it where it belongs. With the Professionals, not freaking laypeople sitting in Tallahassee that have no f'ing clue what it is like to suffer from chronic pain. Sometimes I want to just go over there, and shake them and say WAKE THE HE!! UP YOU IDIOTS!!!!!!!
Oh and we have Rush Limbaugh's little addiction problem to thank for that. The freaking dumb a$$.
From what I was told by a Naturopathic MD. He gets MOST of his consultations from people in Florida and Texas.
I have rarely been happy with the medical care down here, and I work in the medical field. I used to live in the Northwest, and the medical field is 10-20 years ahead of Florida. That is pretty sad, considering the state I lived in, has mainly a rural population.
Move to another state.
