My 1st husband died in his sleep.
I woke up to find him dying. So I'm unsure if he was in a deep sleep or in that toss/turn state, prior to him actually dying. From what it seemed like, he definately knew something was wrong and was clearly fighting it. I don't know if he was aware of anything else, like where he was or if I was there, or what could have been going thru his mind, but he knew that something was wrong.
no you would not have a clue, that is the best way to go
Up to this point, noone has come back from the dead to tell
