My tonsils are the size of golf balls and i cant talk!?!
Question: Im almost posotive i have tonsilitis, and ussually get it every 4 months. I would love to get them out but i am soo afraid of the pain of the procedure! but the pain of the infection is also bad. Would any one who's gotten there tonsils removed recomend it to me?

You sound just like me! when i was about 14, i would get tonsilitis every 2 weeks!! i was going through the worst relationship of my life, lost my virginity, got totally disrespected, cheated on, lied to, he just did TERRIBLE stuff to me...and made it seem like everything was FINE and he didnt do anything wrong.. but anyway so i would cry all the time..so i just got sick every 2 weeks (the infection would hide, and then come back, my only choice was to get them out to get better) i was sick in bed all the time, i didnt even take a shower for one week, i couldnt even get out of bed, my mom had to lift up my head give me water or shaved ice, i could barely swallow..so then i finally got them out...my mom said it took about 20 min, and i woke up & went home & it felt the same as if i had them..reallyyyyyyyyy sore, very hard and painful to swallow, it was terrible..you cant eat chips, anything hard, no candy, only like ice cream, mash potatoes, snow cones (my mom bought a snow cone maker lol) soft foods...and i waited 6-8 weeks till i was better...the worst was the first 2 weeks...u have to let it heal & have the scar tissue come in..and if u eat anything hard u can rip it & then u have to wait longer to heal. It is painful to get them out..but if u dont ur just gonna be sick all the time..so just get them out..i never get sick anymore..i am right now bcuz my brother gave it to me...but my tonsils are gone & dont hurt anymore! good luck sweetie!!<3
