How long had you ingested them before they pumped you out?

They should not release you untill you are well.

I would drink pure water like a fish - as if your life depends on it - at least 4 litres a day for 3 days, then 2 litres a day as a constant thing.
Stay off alcohol for 1 month.

Make sure your will is up to date and whitnessed - and kept safe for you.

Paracetamol is a long acting poison - it may take years to get over it if you do.

it kills your liver......which is pretty nasty.

Paracetamol (UK) or acetominophen (in the USA) was the big worry here. This compound can cause a problem with the liver when too much is taken (glutathione depletion). This is very bad as it could lead to liver failure----which frankly would be a VERY miserable way to die!
