Should i see a doctor?!
Question: i was punched hard repeatedly in the liver area....last week...i felt sore for about 1 week on that side..could this have done permaneant damage to my liver? i got a chest x-ray and the doc said everything looked alright...should i be worried

no.... the liver has exceptional regenerative abilities.. and unless you are still having significant pain on that side. You should be fine.
ya go to a doctor if he says nothing wrong with you ,you can be happy. or else if you dint go you feel for it whenever you get pain because of some other reason
I agree with DocT, your liver can fix it's self and it doesn't sound like there there was a tear. Mainly bruising. If it continues to hurt & not get better in a few days. Then I would see a doctor.
