Just curious!

Just curious!

I'm not a doctor, nor have I ever had my liver completely fail. I did have my liver start to go bad because my gallbladder had ceased functioning and it took a long time for the doctors to catch it. Then they took my gallbladder out and my liver continued to get worse because I had a blockage somewhere. It is the most painful thing I've ever felt. Every inch of my body hurt and I needed morphine consistently every 4 hours. I hope that helps.

OK, I'm not a doctor but about 26 months ago I all most died from liver failier because of drinking. I don't remember if I was in very much pain or not. I don't really remember very much of the first 2-3 weeks in the hospital. From what people have told me I was VERY close to death. The doctors didn't think I was going to make it through the night. Then after the first night, the doctors didn't think I was going to make it though that day. After about a week, the doctors told my brother-in-law that I should be dead. He(the doctor) showed my brother-in-law my blood work and said that I should be dead. since then, I haven't had or wanted a drink and I finally have my health back.
