What is your opinion of watching severely obese people eats tons of fattening fo!

Question: Sometimes I think, should they really be eating that? But the reality is, when I see people eating crap, it's usually at restaurants or even at McDonalds, and I realize that I'm assuming that these people eat like that every single day, and maybe they do, or maybe they are on a strict diet at home, and today they are eating out. How do I know if they haven't started a regimen to reduce the weight? How do I know today isn't their "cheat day?" How do I know if they have a medical problem that has made weight loss near impossible?

People have some problems and weight is a reflection of those problems. I don't judge, or I try not to. They're already getting words from physicians and people close to them, so they don't need it from a stranger. Certainly some of these folks are not eating right, and some of these folks are trying their best. Some of these people might have already dropped 40 pounds, but you won't know that.

I would tell them to stop and try to eat better. Fattening foods are pretty addictive. Some people think they can stop any time but some people can't.

my opinion: ew

Its none of my business (nor yours) so I wouldn't say anything.

If you think you are helping a fat person by pointing out his/her fatness, you are mistaken. Fat people know that they are fat, and often regard unsolicited commentary to that effect to be insulting.

Do you feel the need to point out to a smoker that he should quit?

Do you tell super-thin girls that they ought to eat more?

Do you like getting punched in the mouth? Because if you make a habit of judging strangers' lives, one day you will get socked.

watching them eat would be very disturbing. i wouldn't say anything to them because other people tell everyday. and i don't think i would want to be the the straw that broke the camels back.
