Yeah do it, I had mine done 2 years ago and I love it... my kids think its cool too!!! Oh, and the piercing doesn't hurt, but it is uncomfortable for about a week after cuz your tongue will swell xx

only you can answer this i am afraid like everything some people like it some people don't i have mine done and some people hate it but at the end of the day i like it and since it is on my body that is the important part. They numb your tongue a lot so it does not hurt when it is being pieced but it is very sore for about 2 weeks after, you have to gargle salt water and the tongue becomes very bruised so eating is hard but after that it is fine- good luck with whatever you chose
My sis got hers done and she likes it. She sed it didnt hurt getting it done, but u cant eat for a few days. It bleeds loads aswell. Go for it tho.
The problem with getting your tongue pierced is people will think you got it pierced to pleasure guys lol
I think you should when i get discharged from my orthodontist I'm getting my tongue pierced. get a rubber ball though coz the metal ruins the enamel on the teeth if your likely to play with it.

It's smart to be scared to pierce your tongue. It's dangerous. Think about it, doctors consider human bites to be much more dangerous than dog bites... a higher chance of infection. Piercing the tongue runs all kinds of risks: blood loss, lingering pain, abscesses of the tongue and the brain, diseases like hepatitis and even death.
Plus, the only people that will think it's cool are the small minority of other people that also want to pierce their tongue or have done it themselves. Everyone else will think it's really stupid and see you as not very bright. Do you really want to encourage people to not respect you?
